In the Nitrox Diving Course you will get the necessary training to be able to use air mixtures enriched with oxygen, up to a maximum of 40% in your Padi 5* IDC diving school in Valencia.
You will learn the theory and practice concepts, which will allow you to dive safer and deeper. It will allow you to extend your time at the bottom more safely than if you were diving with conventional air. Surface intervals will be shorter and you will also be able to make successive deeper dives. You will be able to dive more safely for yourself.
About the Valencia Nitrox Diving Course
The aim of this course is to train the student to be able to use oxygen enriched air mixtures (Nitrox) up to 40% as a bottom or decompression breathing mix. This course has been elaborated thinking about how useful the use of Nitrox can be for sport divers of beginner or advanced level in their dives.
The increase in safety, the fact that more and more dive centres are charging Nitrox and that the diver does not need to change equipment to use it, are the reasons why Nitrox diving will soon be a common practice.
The learning method we have established for this course does not require complicated mathematical calculations, on the contrary, any diver will be able to follow it by focusing on understanding the fundamental concepts and forgetting the mathematical operations.
On the other hand, the topics covered and the type of dives that can be done more safely using Nitrox, will surely induce some divers to become interested in technical diving and to have a more adequate vision of what it entails. To satisfy these interests, after passing this course, they will be able to continue with other courses within the training plan at your Padi diving school in Valencia.

- Age 12 years
- OPEN WATER qualification or similar.
- Valid licence or insurance.
- Current medical certificate (maximum 2 years) OR OFFICIAL MEDICAL QUESTIONNAIRE
