The 44th edition of FITUR closed its doors with resounding success, consolidating its position as the world's leading trade fair for the tourism sector. With an exhibition area of more than 137,000 square metres and the participation of 152 countries, the fair welcomed 153,000 professionals and 97,000 visitors from the general public.

Within the framework of FITUR 2024, Fitur LGBT+ has stood out as a key space for the connection and promotion of inclusive tourism destinations and services. This specialised section, which was attended by around 7,000 visitors during the professional days, confirms the importance of addressing the needs of the LGBT+ community in the tourism sector.

The fair had a wide representation of exhibitors, from companies to specialised areas, showing the industry as a whole. Travel agencies, hotels, service companies, wholesalers, leisure and culture companies, incoming agencies, transport, know-how and technology, official bodies, tourism offices, hotels, incentives, meetings and congresses, professional associations and the media all had a place at FITUR 2024.
