About the Tec Gas Blender Diving Course
The PADI Tec Gas Blender course gives you the opportunity to become an expert in gas blending for technical diving. You will learn the essential principles and procedures to prepare enriched air (Nitrox) and trimix (helium) mixtures safely and accurately, using a variety of methods and specialised equipment.
What will you learn in the Padi Tec Gas Blender course?
- Advantages and disadvantages of different mixing methodologies.
- To mix enriched air and trimix mixtures within one percent of the target tolerance.
- The potential hazards associated with oxygen handling and how to manage those risks.
- Cleaning of oxygen equipment, in conjunction with the requirements for oxygen service.
- Safety procedures: You will develop skills to handle gases safely, following strict protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the quality of mixtures.

- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, y recomendado PADI Rescue Diver

What are the requirements for the PADI Tec Gas Blender course?
- Be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent.
- Have at least 30 logged dives.
- Be in good physical shape and have a valid medical certificate authorising you to perform technical diving.
