PADI INSTRUCTOR COURSE VALENCIA

During the course you will learn how to apply the PADI System in the educational training of recreational divers, as well as how to implement commercial techniques for the dive business. This will make you a qualified PROFESSIONAL, prepared and motivated to work anywhere in the world.

The course content is as follows:
16 learning sections will be completed beforehand, independently and in self-study through the PADI digital platform, always with the control, support and advice of the Course Director:
1. Course Orientation
2. Learning, Instruction and the PADI System knowledge of the PADI pedagogical system.
3. General Standards and Procedures - Standards for the use of the PADI pedagogical system.
4. Start Diving. A range of experiences to approach scuba diving without the need for a course, DSD, baptism, etc.
5. Open Water Diver Course
6. Diving Adventures Programme
7. Rescue Diver Course
8. Divemaster Course
9. Teach PADI Dive Specialty Courses A range of specific courses specific to facets of diving once certified.
10. The Business of Diving
11. Continue Scuba Diving a range of diving activities once certified.
12. Development of Knowledge Development Presentations.
13. Teaching in Confined Water.
14. Conduct Open Water Training Dives.
15. How to Teach the Recreational Dive Planner (RDP). Knowledge and training on PADI's specific tool for
plan no-decompression dives and compare with dive computers.
16. Risk management: How to minimise risk situations and optimise risk management. Diving insurance, local legislation, etc.
17. Diving Marketing: How to effectively promote the diving business, selling experiences, equipment and travel, with traditional and modern tools. No customers, no teaching!

You will participate in the 16 practical workshops of the face-to-face IDC curriculum. together with the Course Director and/or their support staff.

The following actions will be carried out in the audiovisual classroom, swimming pool and sea:
1. Refresher workshop on Learning, Instruction and the PADI System knowledge of the PADI pedagogical system.
2. General Standards and Procedures Refresher Workshop. Standards for use of the PADI teaching system.
3. Taller de repaso de Comenzar a Bucear. Abanico de experiencias de acercamiento al buceo sin necesidad de realizar un curso, DSD, bautismo, etc…
4. Practical workshop on Open Water Diver Course implementation and logistics
5. Practical workshop on the realisation and logistics of the Adventures in Diving Programme.
6. Practical workshop on the implementation and logistics of the Rescue Diver Course.
7. Practical workshop on the implementation and logistics of the Divemaster Course.
8. Practical workshop on conducting and logistics of PADI Diving Specialty Courses.
9. Diving Business Review Workshop. Knowledge of the commercial world of diving both nationally and internationally.
Professional possibilities both as an employee and as an entrepreneur. Applicable legislation. Continuous training.
10. Practical implementation and logistical workshop on Continue Diving specific on the possibilities to build customer loyalty through various diving activities once certified.
11. Practical workshop Development of Knowledge Development Presentations.
12. Practical workshop Teaching in Confined Water in dry conditions
13. Practical Workshop Conducting Dry Open Water Training Dives
14. How to Teach the Recreational Immersion Planner (RDP) practical workshop
15. Practical workshop on Risk Management, real cases applied to the local and global environment.
16. Practical workshop Interactive Dive Marketing for selling experiences, diving equipment and travel, with traditional and digital tools.

In addition:
Conduct three presentations of knowledge development in the classroom using audiovisual media and digital tools.
Conduct four academic presentations on confined water.
Conduct two integrated academic open water presentations (two exercises).
Perform the 24 diving exercises of the Technique Evaluation, obtaining a minimum required score.
Take and pass a PADI System, Standards and Procedures exam.
Take and pass a Diving Theory exam.
Perform a 400-metre non-stop swim. Perform 10 minutes of floating without holding on to anything.
